Holistic Care
The Meadows of Wickenburg, Arizona is a treatment program for trauma, sex addiction, drug and alcohol addiction, panic and anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They treat the whole person with a blend of holistic and therapeutic methods. The therapies used are somatic experiencing, EMDR, Tai Chi, mindfulness, expressive arts, and equine therapy. One-size-fits-all does not promote lasting healing, which is why The Meadows offers a specialized continuum of behavioral health services. The Meadows of Wickenburg has 9 sister programs. A few examples are Claudia Black Young Adult Center, Willow House at The Meadows, and Gentle Path at The Meadows. At The Meadows, the medical and clinical staff includes 24-hour nursing, on-site physicians, and a full time chief of psychiatry. The Meadows believes that family members should also be included in the recovery process, which is why they have a family week. During this week, family members focus on developing a supportive environment for patients once they return home. The Meadows provides training for their staff to ensure The Meadows Model is the most clinically comprehensive and nurturing program. They are Joint Commission accredited. The Meadows is privileged to be a TRICARE provider of behavioral health and substance abuse inpatient services to the active duty military, veterans, and their dependents. They are in-network with Multiplan and have the ability to work with out-of-network providers.
